Singer Clinic and Fun Days
Sept 18-19, 2010
OHHA will be
hosting a second clinic with Lisa Singer for 2010.
This clinic will be held in
Stillwater at the Fairgrounds/Expo Center.
The clinic format
is planned to be private lessons on Saturday working
on dressage and then cones in the afternoon. On
Sunday, participants will be split up into groups of
approximately 3 and will then go out and work in
hazards out on the marathon course. The purpose for
this format is to provide an opportunity for those
that would be interested in having some 'formal'
schooling in preparation for the Cowboy Country CDE
in October. (It's not to say that participant's of
the clinic must enter the CDE though.) The clinic
will be open to 9-10 participants. This clinic
format will actual provide more lesson time with
Lisa than our standard clinics with her.
At this time, I
can't finalize all costs associated with the clinic,
but the cost may be as high as $300 for the
weekend. We are hoping for less, around $250.
Stall fees will be $10.00/night and stabling will be
located in the covered livestock barns east of the
indoor arena. (The same area where stabling is for
the CDE and the flooring is dirt/sand.) Clinic
participants will be required to be a member of
OHHA. If you are not a member, you can join at the
time of entering the clinic.
Confirmation
of your clinic participation will require a payment
of $250 to hold your slot. Please keep in mind
there may be some additional costs of up to $50. If
any participant should have to cancel their lesson
slot, it will be their responsibility to find
another participant to fill their slot or they will
forfeit their clinic fees. There will be a waiting
list kept for those that would like a clinic slot
once the clinic is filled. Keep in mind, lesson
slots will be filled on the basis of the $250
payment first received.

Fun Days
Come for either or
both Days
If
you would like to bring your horse/pony and
drive/ride the trails, let us know. If you want to
stay over, stalls will be available. Stall
fees will be $10.00/night. We will need to
stay away from and not interfere with the clinic.
