Cost: $5.00 Per
Dressage Test (Drive as many as you like); $5.00 to Drive Either the Cones or
Hazards; $10.00 to Drive Both Cones & Hazards
Details: This is just to be a relaxed fun day of driving and to give
everyone a chance to practice driving dressage tests and then if you want to,
have a little fun driving hazards and a cones course.
The choice will be
yours as to what you want to drive. If you just want to practice dressage tests
that is fine, the cost per test is $5.00. You choose the test(s) that you want
to drive.
If you want to do the
full ADT and drive thehazards (2 hazards driven twice) and the cones course, it
is an additional $10.00.
If you'd like to just
do either the hazards or the cones in addition to your dressage tests, then it
will be an addtional $5.00.
Linda Johnson will
bring copies of all of the tests that she has available. If you want to check in
with her and make sure she has copies of the tests you will be driving, please
feel free to contact her at:
ldjohnson50@hotmail.com. Otherwise, please bring your own copies for
scoring of the tests you plan to drive. As to who will be judging the dressage
tests, that is still to be determined, but it will be a friendly face, so no
worries!
If you are planning on
doing the full ADT, everyone will need to drive the same test according to their
level. Training level will drive Training Test #4. Preliminary level will drive
Preliminary Test #4. These will be the regular dressage tests since we will have
access to a full dressage arena, NOT the ADT tests.
Format: Dressage tests will be driven in the morning from 9:00 am to
12:00pm, or until finished. It will be on a come and go basis, please be
flexible since we do need to schedule and have some kind of organization. There
will not be a pre-set schedule for dressage times, prior to your arrival. When
you arrive, please check in with 'the office person'. Once everyone has had all
of the dressage they can stand, we will then take a lunch break for about an
hour and then move on to the hazards and cones.
Please bring your own
lunch, drinks and chairs and we can gather under the trees on the south end of
the dressage arena. Then starting about 1:00 pm we will drive the hazards and
cones. There is one permanent hazard and then we will have a temporary hazard
set up and the cones course will be set up in the dressage field area. Sound
confusing??? ??..... well just come on out and give it all a try! Remember
this is supposed to be fun and relaxed!!! (and SAFE!) The plan is to give
everyone an opportunity to get out, practice and have a good time socializing
with our horses and ponies.
To help give us an idea of how many are planning to attend, it would be helpful
if you would RSVP Linda Johnson. If you decide at the last minute that you are
coming then don't worry about it and just show up. Any questions, please contact
Linda at:
ldjohnson50@hotmail.com. We will also be in need of volunteers
especially in the afternoon to help with the hazards and cones.
