The Oklahoma Harness Horse Association is sponsoring a mini
clinic at Jan and Jeff Scott's farm in Drumwright, OK on
July 3rd. It will be a pleasure driving clinic with
discussion and mock classes for everyone to try with their
horses. A few people have asked for turnout demo duds so
some of those will be available to look at, as well. The
clinic will focus on the differences in the gaits for
pleasure driving shows vs. dressage gaits. We'll give you
tips for using the arena to your advantage and there will be
discussion on how to drive the speed classes and strategize
the classes.
The clinician will be Becky Benjamin.
There will be no fee for OHHA members. Not a member? Come
to the clinic and join there. Jan Scott is our treasurer
and will be happy to sign you up!
Due to the time of year it will only last a few hours and
the Scotts have offered their beautiful trails for leisure
driving as you please.
Start gathering and hitching at 9:00am and be ready for the
clinic at 10:00am. Bring a lunch and we'll picnic under the
trees or on the patio.
